A Flood Watch has been issued for the counties of Edgar, Clark, Jasper, Crawford, Clay, Richland, and Lawrence, including the cities of Paris, Flora, Newton, Robinson, Lawrenceville, Marshall, and Olney through Friday evening.
WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
WHERE…Portions of east central Illinois and southeast Illinois, including the following counties, in east central Illinois, Clark and Edgar. In southeast Illinois, Clay, Crawford, Jasper, Lawrence and Richland.
WHEN…From late tonight through Friday evening.
IMPACTS…Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris.
