Springfield, IL-(Vandalia Radio)- Most Illinois veterans are currently working, but some say they need careers – not just paychecks. Some veterans know exactly what career path they want when they get discharged from military service, but many of them don’t.

Help is available as there are veteran assistance commission offices in every county building in Illinois. In addition, Illinois has five Veterans Outreach Program offices across the state that offer in person career counseling by appointment.
