Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The FISH & Catholic Charities Christmas Store – Effingham County will be providing services for Effingham County families struggling with financial hardship.
Family registration will only be available ONLINE until Nov 23. Parents will be required to complete an interest inventory on each child.
Christmas Packages will be assembled in advance by volunteers and will be available for pickup during a scheduled window on December 10th at Crossroots Church (3200 S Banker St., Effingham). Along with gift items will be a food voucher for the pantry (redeemable if they are not current clients) & a clothing voucher for Second Hand Rose to be used 12/12 – 12/21. New this year, Seniors will be given a coat voucher to be redeemed at Second Hand Rose (based on availability) to be used 12/12 – 12/21. Catholic Charities will provide socks, underwear, & pajamas for children.
