EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

October 22, 2022

• Effingham City Police arrested 32 year old Alexis S. Newport of Terre Haute for possession of a controlled substance, hypodermic needle, and drug paraphernalia, retail theft >$300, and possession  of >5g of meth with intent to deliver. Alexis posted $1500 and was released.
• Effingham City Police arrested 28 year old Michael A. Coe of Florissant, MO for a Madison County FTA warrant for preliminary/unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Michael was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham City Police arrested 23 year old Mia Hayden of Altamont for possession of <5g of meth. Mia was given $5000 release on your own recognizance and was released.

October 23, 2022

• Effingham City Police arrested 38 year old Carol A. Joseph of Sigel for obstructing justice. Carol was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 59 year old Mark A. Davidson of Altamont for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended, possession of a firearm with an expired FOID card, possession of meth, unlawful possession of firearms, 2 firearm ammunitions, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mark was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 35 year old Thomas D. Scott of Altamont for a Clay County warrant for contempt of court, failure to pay child support, and possession of drug paraphernalia and meth <5g. Thomas was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 34 year old Christine E. Duckwitz of Toledo for an Effingham County FTA warrant for retail theft <$300. Christine posted $225 and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 20 year old Noah J. Crooker for a Shelby County FTA warrant for domestic battery/physical contact, a Moultrie County FTA warrant for damage to property, possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Noah was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham City Police arrested 28 year old Daniel M. D. Lamb of Toledo for retail theft and criminal trespass. Daniel posted $150 and was released.
• Altamont City Police arrested 40 year old James A. inman of Altamont for a Coles County FTA warrant for simple assault. James was given an NTA by Coles County.
• Effingham City Police arrested 39 year old Nicholas A. Anderson of Effingham for domestic battery. Nicholas was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Illinois State Police arrested 18 year old Bryor T. Rhodes of Beecher City for improper display of registration, operating an uninsured vehicle, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, illegal transportation or possession of alcohol by driver, and unlawful use of a weapon. Bryor posted $300 and was released.

October 24, 2022

• Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 33 year old Jacob A. Shelton of Mason for an Effingham County FTA warrant for aggravated DUI/no valid Driver’s License, and possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. Jacob was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
