- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 45 year old Jeff A. Hopper of St. Elmo for an Effingham County FTA warrant for retail theft/disposing merchandise <$300. Jeff was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 24 year old Ethan A. Nettles of Effingham for failure to register as a sex offender. Ethan was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 40 year old Dustin A. Hall of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Dustin was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 24 year old Brayden L. Aldredge of Louisville for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended. Brayden posted $225 and was released.
CRASHES
September 14, 2022
- At 5:04 P.M. at the intersection of Temple and Cleveland a vehicle driven by Michael J. Burner, 69, Effingham, pulled into the path of and was struck by a vehicle driven by Christine M. Davoli, 50, Effingham. No injuries. Burner was ticketed for Failure to Yield.
