- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 41 year old Dustin L. Gent of Effingham for an Effingham County attachment for contempt. Dustin posted $800 and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 24 year old Shenandoah C. Depew of St. Louis for a Graves County, KY warrant for theft by deception, criminal possession of forged instrument, and theft by deception.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 34 year old Jennifer M. Hazlett of Altamont for a federal warrant for 2 counts of distribution of meth. Jennifer was taken to Marion County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 27 year old Richard E. Evans III of Beecher City for domestic battery. Richard was taken to the Effingham County jail.

- At 1:25 P.M. at the intersection of Heritage and Keller a vehicle driven by Maggie R. McNeely, 21, Flora, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Mary E. Wood, 61, Montgomery. No injuries and no citations.
