Billionaire Ken Griffin Adds $25M To Irvin’s GOP Bid For Governor

Chicago, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Billionaire Ken Griffin is putting more money behind Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin’s Republican bid for governor.

The founder of Citadel is dropping an additional 25-million-dollars into the Irvin’s campaign as he tries to unseat Governor Prizker.

Griffin last contributed 20-million-dollars to the campaign in February. Irvin is among five major contenders for the GOP nomination in the June 28th primary.
