- Effingham Police arrested 37 year old Roland C. Webb of Louisville for a Clay County FTA warrant for driving while license revoked. Roland posted $375 and was released.
- Effingham Police arrested 34 year old Allen G. Matlock of Mason for 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of meth, drug paraphernalia, and hypodermic needle, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, criminal trespass, and a Coles County FTA warrant for aggravated assault. Allen was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 24 year old Zachary P. Platteborze of Mattoon for an Effingham County FTA warrant for aggravated domestic battery strangling. Zachary was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 34 year old Timothy R. Bowlby of Sandoval for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Timothy was taken to the Effingham County jail.

- At 4:47 P.M. at 1806 W. Fayette a semi driven by Ibrahim H. Abukar, 36, Sartell, MN, sideswiped a semi driven by Donnie E. Moore, 60, Joliet. No injuries and no citations.
February 15, 2022
- At 8:18 A.M. west of the intersection of Raney and Fayette a vehicle driven by Donald L. Ealy, 80, Effingham, pulled into the path of and was struck by a vehicle driven by Maria A. Hille, 25, Effingham. No injuries. Ealy was ticketed for Failure to Yield.
