- Effingham Police arrested 23 year old Anthony M. Jamison of Effingham for possession of meth, a Marion County FTA warrant for domestic battery, and physical contact. Anthony was taken to the Effingham County jail.

- At 11:42 P.M. east of the intersection of Fayette and the I57 NB/I70 EB entrance ramp a vehicle driven by Swade T. Unkraut, 27, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Dennis E. Presley, 56, Effingham. No injuries. Unkraut was ticketed for Driving Under the Influence and Improper Lane Usage.
