- Effingham Police arrested 40 year old Captain J. Heather of Mattoon for failure to register as a violent offender. Captain was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 43 year old Thomas A. McCarthy of Effingham for DUI alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, and resisting a police officer. Thomas was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 39 year old Joshua D. Edwards of Terre Haute, IN for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Joshua was taken to the Effingham County jail.
