We have been made aware there are energy companies contacting our Chamber members and falsely representing themselves, claiming to run the Effingham County Chamber Energy co-op program.
The only approved company affiliated with our Chamber and the Energy Co-op Program is CQI Associates. If a representative claiming to be part of the Chamber Co-op reaches out to you and they are not with CQI Associates, please reach out directly to Becky at the Chamber (217) 342-4147 or Shelby Dupont at CQI Associates (217) 521-9400.

It is important to understand providing information, signing documents, or agreeing to work with these unaffiliated companies in any way can result in unwanted changes to your energy supplier. Not only will you be charged early termination fees, the change in energy rates can equate to thousands of dollars out of pocket for the length of the new contract.
