
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- TMZ is reporting actress Betty White has died at the age of 99. White passed away at her home Friday morning.
She was best known for her roles in “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “Golden Girls.” White began her work in radio in the 1940’s before transitioning to TV in 1949 with the “Hollywood on Television” show. The actress has 115 acting credits to her name and won multiple Emmys along with a Grammy.
White was to turn 100-years-old in mid-January.
