On Friday, December 10th there was a horrific tornado that left devastation among countless families in Kentucky.
Hetzel’s Trucking is accepting donations to help aid the families in Kentucky that were affected by the tornado. You can drop off items at Hetzel’s Trucking located at 304 W Airport Road in Effingham. Items can be dropped off this week beginning today (12/17) until 7 PM or Saturday, 12/18 from 7 AM to 1 PM. Next week, they will start taking donations again on Monday (12/20) through Wednesday (12/22) from 7 AM until 7 PM each day. Hetzel’s Trucking will be delivering the donations on Thursday, December 23rd.
Any items you can donate are appreciated, but Kentucky specifically asked for baby items (such as formula, diapers, and wet wipes), bottled water, feminine hygiene products, toiletries, general dry goods, and toys for Christmas.
