November 20, 2021
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 35 year old Ross A. Alvarez of Portage, IN for a Clay County FTA warrant for violation of order of protection and a Lake County, IN warrant for theft. Ross was transported to Clay County jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 24 year old Alexa J. Feldhake of Dieterich for a Posey County, IN FTA warrant for leaving the scene of an accident. Alexa was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 41 year old Anthony M. Rivera of Kankakee for possession of ammo with a revoked FOID card, unlawful transportation of weapons, unlawful use of weapon in vehicle of concealed, speeding, and no valid Driver’s License. Anthony was given an NTA.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 28 year old Scott M. Figueroa of Charleston for domestic battery, aggravated battery to a police officer, and resisting a police officer. Scott was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 25 year old John H. Ungrund of Effingham for DUI alcohol. John was given an NTA.

- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 22 year old Daniel C. Lankford of Effingham for burglary and possession of stolen property. Daniel was taken to the Effingham County jail.

- At 9:00 P.M. at 1204 Ave of Mid America an unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle owned by Brandon Longbein, Mattoon. No injuries and no citations at this time.
