- Effingham Police Department arrested 28-year-old Gaige B. McWhorter of Effingham. McWhorter was charged with retail theft and was released after being given a notice to appear.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 21-year-old Lucas A Sheilds of Effingham. Sheilds was arrested on charges of failure to updated sex offender registration, resisting a police officer causing injury and criminal damage to government supported property over $500. Sheilds was given a notice to appear and released.
