- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 29-year-old Samantha L. Balderrama of Douglasville, Texas. Balderrama was arrested on charges of possession of meth under five grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, operating a uninsured motor vehicle, suspended registration. Balderrama was given a notice to appear and released.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 23-year-old Ethan A. Nettles of Effingham. Nettles was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender. Nettles in still in custody.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 26-year-old Jesse D. Mosby of Effingham. Mosby was arrested on a Effingham County mittimus for possession of meth under five grams and was sentenced to 180 days in jail.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 37-year-old Brandon J. Hess of Decatur. Hess was arrested on a Effingham County warrant for domestic battery, possession of meth under five grams and obstructing justice. Hess was given a notice to appear and released.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 25-year-old Tia J. Piotrowski of Ossian, Indiana. Piotrowski was arrested for possession of meth under five grams, possession of a hypodermic needle and obstructing justice. Piotrowski was given a notice to appear and released.
