- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 24-year-old Brendan M. Kemme of Effingham. Kemme was arrested on a Effingham County mittimus for the DOC and sent to 42 months for possession of a stolen firearm. Kemme is still in custody.
- Effingham Police Department was arrested 31-year-old Haley S. Dust of Effingham. Dust was arrested on charges of domestic battery and is still in custody.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 48-year-old Jason M Longoria of Effingham. Longoria was arrested on charges of domestic battery and is still in custody.

- At 4:24 P.M. at the intersection of Keller and Heritage a vehicle driven by Kevin M. Kinkelaar, 35, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Rebecca A. Evans, 51, Brownstown, causing Evans’ vehicle to rear-end a vehicle driven by Elizabeth L. Latta, 38, Terre Haute, IN. Evans sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. Kinkelaar was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
