Effingham County Jail
- Effingham Police Department arrested 34-year-old Natashia L Blackwell of Newton. Blackwell was arrested on charges of possession of a hypodermic needle, resisting a police officer, possession of meth, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, a Coles County failure to appear warrant for escape and a Jasper County failure to appear warrant for burglary. Blackwell is still in custody.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 33-year-old Sean K. Stokes of Effingham. Stokes was arrested on charges of unlawful uses of a weapon, possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of meth under five grams and possession of a controlled substance. Stokes is still in custody.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 33-year-old Lee M. Jones of Oblong. Jones was arrested on a Jasper County failure to appear warrant for possession of a controlled substance. A notice to appear was issued by Jasper County and Jones was released
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 31-year-old Trevor L. Lindemann of Effingham. Lindemann was arrested on a Richland County failure to appear warrant for a DUI/A;cohol. Lindemann is still in custody.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 36-year-old Lindsey J Streu of Arkansas. Streu was arrested on a Washington County, Arkansas failure to appear warrant for theft. Washington County issued a notice to appear in Arkansas and Streu was released
