Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- A new study finds lack of sleep on a regular basis can lead to developing dementia or an early death.
Harvard Medical School expert Rebecca Robbins says a regular sleep schedule helps reduce cognitive decline in our brains, which is a key ingredient for mortality. Humans are supposed to get between seven and ten hours of sleep each night depending on their age.
The World Sleep Society says sleep deprivation affects 45-percent of the world’s population.
