May 31, 2021
- Effingham Police arrested 37 year old William David Brann of Vandalia for 2 counts of criminal damage to state property. William was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 31 year old Brandon C. Neville of Altamont for driving while license revoked, and a Shelby County FTA warrant for retail theft. Brandon posted $275 for Shelby County warrant, was given NTA for other charge.
- Effingham Police arrested 28 year old Joshua D. Mayberry of Effingham for possession of meth <5g, possession of hypodermic needle, and obstruct/destroying evidence. Josh was given an NTA and was released.
June 1, 2021
- Effingham Police arrested 26 year old Tiauna Campbell of Effingham for domestic battery. Tiauna was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 40 year old Dustin L. Gent of Effingham for resisting/obstructing/disarming a police officer, and disorderly conduct. Dustin was taken to the Effingham County jail.
June 2, 2021
- Effingham Police arrested 31 year old Joseph M. Rhodes of Kell, IL for Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of cannabis 2.5-10g, a Fayette County FTA warrant for possession of a stolen vehicle, and a Washington County FTA warrant for stolen property. Joseph was given an NTA on local warrant and transported to Fayette County.
- Effingham Police arrested 19 year old Austin A. Parker of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for meth delivery 5<15g. Austin was taken to the Effingham County jail.

- At 2:37 P.M. at 2911 S. Banker St a vehicle driven by Frank E. Chisler, 73, Effingham struck a vehicle driven by Candice N. Burson, 34, Martinsville. No injuries. Chisler was cited for Failure to Yield.
- At 9:39 P.M. at the intersection of Keller and Marvon a vehicle driven by Colton J. Robson, 21, Effingham struck a deer. No injuries and no citations.

- At 9:53 P.M. at 1510 W Fayette Ave a vehicle driven by Angela C. Ard, 50, Mattoon, struck a portion of a drive-thru owned by Jack Flash. No injuries and no citations.

- At 9:24 P.M. at the intersection of Keller and Hampton a vehicle driven by Elizabeth A. Kidd, 32, Effingham, rear ended a vehicle driven by Kevin L. Hill, 57, Effingham. No injuries. Kidd was cited for Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Driving While License Suspended. Hill was cited for Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
