- Effingham Police arrested 22 year old Rashan A. Anderson of Newark, NJ for possession of a stolen vehicle worth over $25k, possession of a controlled substance, obstruction of justice. Rashan was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 24 year old Alton J. Stone of Switz City, IN for domestic battery, and interference with a domestic violence report. Alton was taken to the Effingham County jail.

- Altamont Police arrested 31 year old Deandrea D. Roberts of St. Louis for criminal trespass to property, resisting, a Jefferson County, MO warrant for assault. Deandrea was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 22 year old Kody D. Lankford of Effingham for possession of meth <5g, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kody was taken to the Effingham County jail.

- At 1:24 P.M. at the intersection of Keller and Evergreen a vehicle driven by Tanner M. Postin, 23, Flora, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Dakota D. Krampe, 20, Neoga, causing Krampe’s vehicle to rear-end a vehicle driven by Pedro A. Carrillo, 19, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
