March 30, 2021
- Illinois State Police arrested 65 year old William G. Lotton of Mattoon for DUI drugs, and possession of a controlled substance. William was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham Police arrested 26 year old Dylan J. Lewis of Effingham for an Effingham County warrant for DUI alcohol. Dylan posted $257 and was released.
- Effingham Police arrested 32 year old Dustin R. Hudson of Effingham for a Coles County warrant for violation of pretrial, an original charge of felon in possession of a weapon. Dustin was transported to Coles County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 32 year old Amber N. Nicholas of Findlay for an Effingham County warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Amber was given an NTA and was released.
March 31, 2021
- Effingham Police arrested 48 year old William H. Florida of Effingham for an Effingham County warrant for possession of a controlled substance exceeding legal amount, and a St. Clair warrant for meth possession. William was given an NTA for the Effingham County warrant, and posted $575 for the St. Clair warrant.
- Effingham Police arrested 19 year old Daniel M. Langham of Effingham for an Effingham County warrant for criminal trespass to land, a Coles County FTA warrant for burglary, resistin/obstructing a police officer, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Daniel was given an NTA for the Effingham County warrant and was transported to the Coles County jail.

- At 12:12 P.M. east of the intersection of Fayette and Mulberry a semi driven by Jerry L. Simmons, 60, Taylorville, sideswiped a vehicle driven by Amy L. Klein, 34, Muncie, IN. No injuries and no citations.

- At 11:30 P.M. at 2500 N. 3rd an unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle owned by PJ Trans, Inc., Franklin Park. No injuries and no citations at this time.
