EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

March 24, 2021

Illinois State Police arrested 32 year old Liang You of Quakertown, PA for possession of cannabis over 5000g, manufacturing cannabis >5000g, and cannabis trafficking. Liang was taken into custody.
Effingham Police arrested 22 year old Mitchell D. Tuttle of Stewardson for an Effingham County PSC warrant for a failure to report to jail on January 24th per court order, and a Richland County FTA warrant for obstruction. Mitchell was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 24 year old Travis A. Durbin of Effingham for domestic battery. Travis was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 20 year old Jesse L. Kollman of St. Elmo for battery, aggravated assault, possession of ammo by a felon, leaving the scene of an accident with injury, and driving while license suspended. Jesse was taken to the Effingham County jail.

March 25, 2021

Effingham Police arrested 38 year old Adam W. Pride of Flora for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license revoked, and improper use of registration. Adam was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 25 year old Rachel L. Worman of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for aggravated battery to a police officer. Rachel was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 24 year old Dylan R. Rentfro of Sigel for an Effingham County PSC warrant for an original charge for possession of <5g of meth. Dylan was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 42 year old Jeremy D. Pontious of Effingham for possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jeremy was taken to the Effingham County jail.

March 26, 2021

Effingham Police arrested 35 year old Tyler J. Stewart of Flora for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving on suspended license due to 2nd DUI, possession of meth, and driving while license revoked. Tyler was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham Police arrested 43 year old Jason R. Longardner of Effingham for possession of a controlled substance. Jason was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham Police arrested 30 year old Deandrea D. Roberts of St. Louis for an Effingham County original warrant for domestic battery, an Effingham County FTA warrant for domestic battery and physical harm, and resisting arrest. Deandrea was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 20 year old Kaleb A. Godert of Effingham for an Effingham County warrant for retail theft <$300, possession of meth, drug paraphernalia, and a Shelby County FTA warrant for possession of cannabis. Kaleb was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham Police arrested 23 year old Jamey M. Rhodes of Brownstown for possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, and obstructing justice. Jamey was given an NTA and was released.

March 20, 2021

At 12:34 P.M. at 3010 N. 3rd a vehicle driven by Cody R. Lee, 26, Olney, left the roadway and drove into a ditch. No injuries. Lee was ticketed for Driving Under the Influence – Drugs, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Improper Lane Usage, and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

March 24, 2021

At 5:38 PM, 500 feet south of W. Fayette and S. Banker a vehicle driven by Susan M. Gillenwater, 43, Effingham, lost a tire off her vehicle. The tire struck a vehicle driven by Gary E. Lock, 62, St. Elmo. The tire then continued to roll north bound on Banker St. until it struck a vehicle driven by Jaylin A. Koester, 38, Teutopolis. No injuries and no citations.
