Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Effingham Catholic Charities is offering free tax preparation on Tuesdays and Thursdays from January 29th through April 1st.
It’s available to individuals or families in their service area – Clark, Crawford, Cumberland, Effingham, Fayette, Jasper and Shelby counties – with incomes of $60,000 less. Take the required paperwork to their office on East Fayette in T-town between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and they’ll have everything ready in about two-weeks.
