Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- New Tier Three COVID-19 mitigation measures are underway in Illinois.
The measures went into effect Friday and include no indoor dining, as well as required reservations and a curfew for restaurants and bars.
Gyms and retail stores are able to operate at 25-percent capacity.
Casinos and gaming are shut down. The restrictions will be in place for at least the next two weeks.
After that, regions can move back to Tier 2 if they achieve a low enough COVID-19 positivity rate for three days in a row, have more than 20-percent of ICU beds available, and have declining hospitalizations for seven days out of a ten-day period.
