
Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce and the Effingham Daily News HAVE announced the 2020 Top Community Leaders Under 40 recipients and have selected the first annual Up & Coming Leader award recipients.
The Top Community Leaders Under 40 recipients for 2020 are: Dr. Navi Arora, Stacy Dasenbrock, Jody Deters, Ashley Dillingham, Dr.William Fombelle, Stephanie Gobczynski-Uebinger, Jennifer Hecht, Kallee Heuerman, Shelby Flach, Troy Jansen, Jordon Kocher, Corey Lybarger, Janice Monroe, Trina Niemerg, Travis Oaks and Ashley Vincent.
Award recipients are selected based on their business, community and charitable leadership in Effingham County.
Recognizing that Effingham County has many young leaders in our local high schools, the Up & Coming Leaders Award was created for 2020. The award is given to individuals between the ages of 14-18 who are a full time student at an Effingham County high school and achieve a “B” average or greater.
The 2020 Up & Coming Community Leader recipients are: Olivia Eckhardt, Altamont High School; Kaylynn Moeller, Beecher City High School; Faith Aherin, Dieterich High School; Holden Lewis, Effingham High School; Reese Jones and Hanna DiBenedetto, St. Anthony High School; and, Elizabeth Weidner and Ethan Weidner, Teutopolis High School.

These young people represent the next generation of leaders who will guide Effingham County to a positive future. While no in person ceremony will be held this year, the recipients are being recognized through the end of the year in various print, digital and social media platforms throughout Effingham County.
