Edwardsville, IL -(Effingham Radio)- HSHS Medical Group and HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Outpatient Therapy announce a new health care clinic in Edwardsville, located at 1188 S. State Rt. 157, which opened yesterday, September 21, 2020. Prairie Cardiovascular will also be opening soon at the Edwardsville location.
HSHS Medical Group Multispecialty Care – Edwardsville will offer internal and family medicine, and specialists in nephrology, orthopedic surgery, pulmonology and urology will provide outreach services in the near future.

HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Outpatient Therapy will offer assessment, personalized exercise prescription, hands on care/manual techniques, and education to help patients both understand their specific condition and improve their function. This new location is the sixth in the metro-east for HSHS Outpatient Therapy. It includes private therapy treatment rooms and a spacious gym. Other locations are in O’Fallon, Belleville and Mascoutah.
“We will deliver the same high-quality physical therapy services by our expert team of therapists in another convenient location for patients of the region. The primary focus at this location will be neurological and orthopedic care with other specialties including Women’s Physical Therapy to be added in the near future.” said Tom Dibadj, PT, DPT, director of therapy services at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.
Meet the HSHS Medical Group providers:
Internal medicine – Nueki Naate, MD, will be seeing patients ages 18 and older in internal medicine. Her scope of practice includes disease prevention; wellness; substance abuse; mental health; and effective treatment of common problems of the eyes, ears, skin, nervous system and reproductive organs.
Dr. Naate earned her medical degree and her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana, West Africa. She completed an internal medicine residency at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri.
Family medicine – Amy Britt, APRN, will see patients in family medicine. She cares for patients of all ages and offers a variety of services, including minor procedures, general wellness care, well-child exams and chronic illness management.
Amy received her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California University of Pennsylvania in California, Pennsylvania.
