Sigel, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The Following Preliminary Information is Being Released by Illinois State Police District 12.
WHAT: Serious Injury ATV Crash
WHERE: Shelby County Road 00N at CR 3200E – Approximately 2 3⁄4 miles southwest of Sigel, IL.
WHEN: June 13, 2020 at 9:13 P.M.
VEHICLE: Unit 1 – 2016 Honda Rubicon
DRIVER: Unit 1 – Broc D. Bolin, a 30 year old male from Shelbyville, IL – Airlifted to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
PRELIMINARY: Preliminary investigative details indicate the following occurred: Unit 1 was westbound on Shelby County Road 00N, just east of CR 3200E, approximately 2 3⁄4 mile SW of Sigel. For an unknown reason, the driver of unit 1 lost control and the ATV overturned. The driver unit 1 was ejected and later airlifted to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
CHARGES: The driver of unit 1 was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Improper Operation of an ATV on the Roadway.
