Mattoon/Charleston, IL -(Mattoon Radio)- Free Summer Lunches will be available in Mattoon and Charleston for all kids 18 and younger.

The Salvation Army invites all kids, 18 and younger to come enjoy a free grab-and-go meal weekdays though August 6th, with the exception of July 3rd.
The lunch truck will be at West Park Plaza at 11am; Lake Land Mobile Estates at 11:40; Old State Village at 12:10; Sunrise Apartments at 1:00; and Fit 2 Serve at 1:40. Kids five and under need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The free summer meals program with the Salvation Army and EIU’s Civic Engagement and Volunteerism is underway in Charleston, with extra support from First Presbyterian of Charleston on Fridays.
Meals will be served weekdays until August 11th, with the exception of July 3rd. 11am at Neco Fields; 11:30 at Longacre Estates; and noon at Jefferson Elementary School. All kids 18 and younger are welcome, kids five and under need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
