Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- You cannot drink them in your car, but Illinois is allowing bars and restaurants to sell beer and cocktails to go.
Governor Pritzker signed the to-go law yesterday.
He said he hopes that allowing bars and restaurants to sell one more thing will help some of them get through until the state can fully reopen.
The law also allows for cocktail delivery, but is clear that someone who is 21 must sign for the drinks when they arrive.
