Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham County Board held a meeting at 2pm today to discuss, with public comments, re-opening part or all of Effingham County, despite the Governor’s planned phased re-opening. Many people were standing outside with protest signs leading up to the meeting.
No official decision was made at the meeting, the opinions of the public were heard and local representatives sent statements which were read during the meeting. Another date has been set for a meeting to make a final decision. Wednesday, May 13th, is when the meeting will take place.
