Louisville, IL -(Effingham Radio)- A judge is blocking Illinois Governor JB Pritzker’s extension of the state’s stay at home order. The ruling was issued after State Representative Darren Bailey filed suit in Clay County Circuit Court, saying the governor overstepped his legal authority in issuing an extension.
Pritzker says he will appeal the ruling. The state of Illinois has more than 45-thousand cases of coronavirus, with just under two-thousand deaths.
