Mattoon, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Mattoon Police arrested Marty W. Bly, 56 years of age of Mattoon, for the offenses of Burglary and Possession of Burglary Tools.
The arrest occurred on 04/15/2020 at 4:08pm in the 400 block of S. 21st Street in Mattoon. The charges allege that sometime during the night of 4/14/20 through the early morning hours of 4/15/20, and while in the 2600 block of Marshall Ave, Mr. Bly forced entry into a business and stole tools from within. The charges also allege that when Mr. Bly was apprehended, he was in possession of burglary tools. Mr. Bly was taken to the Coles County Jail.
