Springfield, IL -(Vandalia Radio)- Just one day after the state saw its lowest one-day increase in COVID-19 related deaths in nearly a week, that number saw a large increase again on Monday as the Illinois Department of Health reported 74 additional deaths to bring the state’s total to 794 deaths. Just one county reported its first case of coronavirus on Monday as Johnson County has confirmed its first case. That makes 87 of Illinois’ 102 counties now listed as reporting at least one case of COVID-19.
