Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- From The National Weather Service in Norman, OK:
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for the following counties until 7:15pm CT:
- Coles, Crawford, Clark, Clay, Cumberland, Edgar, Douglas, Effingham, Jasper, Shelby, and Moultrie Counties
A severe Thunderstorm Warning means a severe thunderstorm has been spotted in the area.
At 633 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Arcola to near Windsor to 7 miles north of Ramsey, moving southeast at 60 mph. 70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail are potential hazards associated with this storm.
