
Washington, DC -(Effingham Radio)- President Trump has signed an executive order for FEMA to “100-percent fund” emergency activities in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Washington Post says the executive order for Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Guam and Puerto Rico applies to the deployment of the National Guard under state control, and refers to emergency measures aimed at “preventing, mitigating and responding to the threat to public health and safety” posed by the virus.
Coronavirus-related deaths in the U.S. have doubled in the past two days, hitting two-thousand on Saturday night.
