Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Three more Coronavirus deaths were reported in Illinois on Wednesday, bringing the overall death toll in the state to 19.
The deaths were a Kane County man in his 90’s, a Cook County man in his 60’s and a Will County woman in her 50’s; 13 of the 19 deaths have been from Cook County.
The total number of COVID-19 cases jumped to over 1800, with 330 new cases reported yesterday.
Among the cases: two students at Northern Illinois University, correctional officers and a prisoner at the Stateville Correctional Center, and a contractor at Sheridan Correctional Center.
