ISP Expanding FOID Call Center

Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The Illinois State Patrol is expanding its FOID call center.

ISP officials say they receive up to 30-thousand FOID card applications and renewals a month, putting pressure on their call center.

The agency announced over the weekend that they will be hiring more people soon, and upgrading the phone system.
