Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The Illinois State Board of Elections is admitting that some non-U.S. citizens may have voted illegally in the 2018 election.
Officials say nearly 575 non-U.S. citizens were inadvertently registered to vote in Illinois and that some of them voted.
A spokesman said yesterday that the office is not immediately able to determine how many of them voted.
The spokesman also said some may have been legal citizens who filled out their state form incorrectly.
