Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- A new bill is being proposed to get rid of FOID cards.
The bill was filed Monday by Representative John Cabello.
It proposes the repeal of the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act.
If it is approved, it would go into effect on January 1, 2021.
