- 39 year old, Kristopher K. Blankenship, of St. Elmo, IL, was arrested by Effingham Police Department for Driving While License Is Suspended and Operating An Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Blankenship posted $150.
- 31 year old, Zebadiah R. Houser, of Shumway, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for Violating Bail Bond.
- 33 year old, Tiffany J. Webb, of Olney, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County FTA warrant for Failure To Reduce Speed.
- 32 year old, Bryce C. Werling, of Effingham, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a Coles County FTA warrant for Driving Under The Influence and a Cumberland County FTA warrant for Larceny. Werling posted $375 for Coles County and $775 for Cumberland County.
- 62 year old, Ronald G. Worman, of Effingham, IL, was arrested by Effingham Police Department for Driving Under The Influence (Alcohol). Worman posted $100 and Driver’s License.

June 6, 2019
- At 5:09 P.M. at the intersection of Jaycee and Raney a vehicle driven by Cole J. Lowe, 22, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Thomas J. Laub, 79, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
June 9, 2019
- At 9:39 A.M. at the intersection of Fayette and the I57 NB/I70 EB entrance ramp a semi driven by Jerry A. Arnold, 65, Colorado Springs, CO, turned in front of and was struck by a vehicle driven by Angel Miguel, 25, Effingham. No injuries. Miguel was ticketed for No Valid Driver’s License.
- At 10:21 A.M. at the intersection of Willow and Pembroke a vehicle driven by Hanningtone A. Okoth, 31, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Roger R. Pagel, 78, Newton. The impact caused Pagel’s vehicle to leave the roadway and overturn. Both drivers sustained injuries. Pagel refused medical treatment. Okoth was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. Okoth was ticketed for Disobeying Traffic Control Device (Stop Sign).

- At 12:07 P.M. at the intersection of Evergreen and Keller a vehicle driven by Megan B. Miller, 31, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Cheryl M. Grewell, 57, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.

- At 10:44 A.M. at 510 W. Fayette a vehicle driven by Samuel B. Derrickson, 29, Effingham, struck an anchor cable for an Ameren power pole, causing the vehicle to be lifted off the ground and roll over. No injuries and no citations.

- At 5:41 P.M. at the intersection of Wabash and Park a vehicle driven by Colby M. Minter, 19, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Justin J. Pals, 42, Effingham. No injuries. Minter was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
