Washington, D.C. -(Effingham Radio)- Illinois’ two Democratic U.S. Senators are among 40 Senators on Capitol Hill to call more for gun control.
Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth both signed on to a plan that would require people who sell a gun to a family member or friend to first run them through a background check.
Anyone who buys a gun from a store already has to have a background check, and in Illinois anyone with a FOID card is also checked.
