Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Ashley Buehnerkemper was recently named the Manager of Communications within the HSHS Southern Illinois Division (SID). Buehnerkemper’s focus will be the SID ministry of HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
In this role, Buehnerkemper will create and manage comprehensive communications plans and media relations programs to support St. Anthony’s strategic goals. She will serve as counsel to hospital leadership in matters related to internal messaging, community and public relations, and crisis communication to ensure a positive and cohesive public image. She will also provide oversight for a variety of collateral materials, internal and external publications, hospital internet and intranet sites, social media sites, crisis communications, and colleague communications.
Buehnerkemper comes to HSHS having served as the Director of Corporate Communications and Brand Management at Heartland Dental in Effingham, where she was a key member of the corporate leadership team for the largest dental support organization with a vast network of 850+ locations. She worked collaboratively with the executive vice president team in creating and executing on an omnichannel marketing strategy to maximize return on acquisition and engagement efforts in alignment with the company’s overall mission, vision, and objectives. She also coordinated and led long-term marketing activities and communication strategies including events and trade shows to drive visibility and profitable growth.
Buehnerkemper earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a Marketing emphasis from Eastern Illinois University.
