Springfield, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Illinois State Board of Education is asking parents to see if they qualify for free or reduced price school lunches.
The USDA, which runs the school lunch program, released new eligibility guidelines this month.
A family of four can make up to 32 thousand 630 dollars-a-year and get free lunches.
A family of four can make 46 thousand 435 dollars-a-year and get reduced price lunches.
The State Board says anyone with questions should check with their child’s school.
