Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Kelly Sager, RN, MHA, recently was named the Chief Nursing Executive for the Southern Illinois Division (SID) of Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS). The Southern Illinois Division includes HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese, and HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland.
Sager has 20 years of health care leadership experience, most recently as HSHS St. Anthony’s Chief Nursing Officer, a role she has held the past five years. She will continue to serve as Chief Nursing Officer at St. Anthony’s while also providing oversight and direction for clinical nursing services across the Southern Illinois Division.
She has worked for St. Anthony’s since 1996 and has had progressive and successful experience in management roles. Sager is a Licensed Registered Nurse with her degree from Barnes Jewish College, School of Nursing and Allied Health at Washington University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Southern Illinois University, a bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership from Greenville College and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University.
