EFFINGHAM – Police are investigating a felony theft that took place at Kay Jewelers, located on Ford Avenue, in Effingham Sunday evening. Two male suspects were reported, possibly driving a black colored vehicle with Missouri plates. Effingham Police Chief Jeff Fuesting confirmed Monday morning that two individuals entered the store on Sunday evening and were looking at jewelry. At one point, the two left the store with at least two bridal sets. The stolen jewelry is valued at approximately $10,700.
