Beginning Friday the Merger of Hitachi Automotive Components USA with Waupaca Foundry will be finalized. The Effingham Hitachi Metals location will become known as Waupaca Foundry Effingham.
Under the terms of the merger, Waupaca Foundry will assume the assets and liabilities of Hitachi Metals. Additionally, Waupaca Foundry will honor all purchase orders, invoices, blanket orders, or strategic agreements that were issued by Hitachi Metals prior to the merger.
