Effingham, Ill. – Elizabeth D. Buening, 22, of Mason and Jared D. Sapp of Effingham were both arrested yesterday during a traffic stop by the Effingham Police Department for a burglary that occurred on W. Jefferson in Effingham on January 31st, police say.
Effingham County States Attorney Bryan Kibler shared that both allegedly broke into the house, and continued to steal an undisclosed number of items from the residence.
A 100,000 bond for Sapp, and a 75,000 bond for Buening were reportedly issued following the burglary.
Buening, and Sapp will both be appearing in Effingham County Court this morning at 11 a.m. for the charge of residential burglary (Class 1 Felony).

UPDATE (1:50 p.m.) – Earlier today both Buening, and Sapp appeared in Effingham County court, and are now awaiting their next hearing.
Sapp will appear on March 13 at 10 a.m for an appearance with counsel, and Buening for a status hearing on March 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m
