(Springfield, IL) — A manger at Illinois’ Lottery Control Board is out of a job because of what he said about East St. Louis. Blair Garber earlier this month used the same word that President Trump used when he was talking about third-world countries, in a Facebook post about East St. Louis. A number of lawmakers, including some from East St. Louis, yesterday said Garber’s comments were disgusting and pushed Governor Rauner to fire him. Garber resigned yesterday evening.
