EFFINGHAM COUNTY — In the contested Altamont School Board race for a two-year unexpired term, Kerry Wolff won with 45-percent of the vote against Adam Huston with 29-percent and Alan Kollman with 25-percent.
In a contested race between five candidates for three four-year seats, incumbent Darren Feldkamp led the pack winning 27-percent of the vote, followed by Alan Shumaker with 22-percent and Ross Cornett with 19-percent. Clint Reardon and Laura Reardon won 16-percent and 14-percent respectively.
Four candidates vied for three seats on the Teutopolis Board of Trustees. Incumbents John J. Mette led with 30-percent of the vote, followed by Gregory A Oseland with 27-percent and David Tegler with 26-percent. Newcomer Gary Vahling trailed with 15-percent of the vote.
